This book was written in a very understandable way & it inspired me to start tracking my glucose levels. I recommend reading this book. And there is definitely something about seeing the effect on your body when you eat sugar by using a CGM. It's an almost immediate visual telling you that you're inflicting damage on yourself. When you don't see it, you can pretend it's not really happening. When I saw that spike, I imagined my poor body trying to release all that insulin to remove sugar from my blood.
