Both jars are in excellent antique condition. There is a small patch of missing glaze from the jar without a lid. I love these shelves and have bought additional for other areas in the house. I love the look of the industrial pipes, the color of the shelves is perfect, they are sturdy and hold a lot of weight. They are somewhat difficult to assemble, but it's expected as hanging shelves are never fun to hang. I love them. If you are on the fence, just do it :)
