I had a desire to write but nothing would come to me. Then, I began to read this book. It was a game changer! Three chapters into this book and I began to see scenes in my head for a story I am now writing. It all started to flow out of me and I credit this book for getting that started. Janice Elsheimer has written a wonderful guidebook for Christian creatives, helping to unlock and unleash their God given gifts of talent for a purpose much higher than their own artistic satisfaction. Scripture verses anchor the chapters, along with soul-searching exercises, making this a very much needed manual to help spiritually lead creatives to a deeper relationship with The Creator. The dozen people in our first group at our Methodist church in East Texas are really being ignited into creative action and are excited and encouraged each week as they experience their newfound creative DNA being awakened and revealed to them.
