The legs of the framework can be cut to suit your layout but we recommend using a fine tooth saw and not pliers as the material will not cleanly cut. For transport the framework does come with connection pieces as seen in the images that ensure the legs do not

Nice design and looks good, but sizing is completely off. Ordered 8.5 (usual size) and it fits much larger, closer to a 9.5. Already did two exchanges and both had the same issue. Not reliable sizing.
